Pastor Ben is a long-time resident of Anne Arundel County, growing up in the Glen Burnie area and attending Pasadena Assembly of God. Ben is a graduate of Valley Forge Christian College of the Assemblies of God in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. In February of 2000, Ben had the opportunity to return home to Pasadena to serve as youth pastor at his home church. In November of 2004, God began to put a burden on Ben�s heart for the Broadneck peninsula and its need for a relevant, creative, and Christ-centered church. From that moment until the present, God has formed and molded that burden into a vision for Severn River Church. In September of 2006, Pastor Ben was commissioned by Pasadena A/G to plant Severn River Church.

Ben, his wife Corie, and his daughters Sydney and Ellie Mae, currently reside in Pasadena, Maryland. Corie is a part-time substitute teacher and a great mom! Ben loves motorcycles and is currently pursuing his master�s degree in Christian Ministry through the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.

Ariel Rainey, a native of Anne Arundel County, loves Maryland, the water, the seafood, the Orioles, all of it! After getting a Pastoral Ministry degree, Ariel spent twelve years in missionary service in Israel and France, but she is very excited to return to her home state and serve the Lord at Severn River Church. Ariel's years on the missionfield gave her extensive multicultural experience, so she enjoys meeting all sorts of new people, which serves her well as she leads the outreach efforts of Severn River Church. In her spare time, Ariel enjoys speaking French, scrapbooking, and spending time with her three adorable nieces.
