Severn River Church is a brand new faith community just outside of Annapolis, Maryland. When you come to SRC, you can expect to find friendly people, a comfortable atmosphere, creative programming, relevant teaching, and an undeniable excitement for what God is going to do next! When you visit Severn River Church, we want the first thing that you see to be a smiling face! Our parking attendants, greeters, and service hosts are both excited to see you and eager to serve you. So if you need a place to park your car, a place to drop your kids, or just a friendly face, we’ve got it covered!
At SRC, we’re more concerned with who you are than what you wear, so dress comfortably! Our casual dress and upbeat worship are designed to give you a place to connect with God and other people. When you join us, grab a cup of coffee and a muffin, have a seat in a comfy chair, and settle in for an opportunity to take your next step with God!
God is a creative God. All you have to do is look around you to see his creativity in nature. Look no further than your friends and family to see his creativity in other people. And simply look in the mirror to see his originality in creating you! So if God values creativity so highly, we feel that his church should be one of the most imaginitive places to be! When you come to SRC, you might see comedy, music, video, live drama, and much more as we seek to honor God with our creativity!
We believe that the Bible truly is God’s word to us – from cover to cover. We seek to make the Bible easy to understand and applicable to everyday life. We’ll even give you an outline for the message to make it easy to follow along. Whether it’s your first time in church or your hundred and first, you’ll be encouraged to take your next step in your relationship with the Lord through a timely and pertinent message from one of our pastors.
